What do you wear when you’re feeling dark and twisty, on a miserable, rainy afternoon in Manchester? Black on black, of course.

I love this jersey bardot number from Asos, and  because it’s so simple, it works well with statement, look-at-me shoes. These lace up sandals from Missguided are an old sale buy, and I love how utterly crazy they are – plus, they’re super comfy and turn any basic look into something special.

  1. 90% of my closet was all black. I lived in it. These days it’s maybe 70% with some pops of color here and there. Black can be basic. Is can be dressy. It can be rock n roll, goth… it’s everything. It’s classic & never goes out of style.
