Alexander McQueen has long been one of my favourite brands. I love how utterly unapologetic the label is about being fierce and sassy, and how statement their designs are.

Whilst the Alexander McQueen pieces tend to be a little out of my price range, McQ Alexander McQueen accessories and clothing are just as eye-catching, for a considerably lesser price. Thank God for diffusion lines…

I wore this outfit for work one day this week. Whilst there are some McQ Alexander McQueen bits thrown in, the rest of the look was super cheap and comfortable – ideal for a day spent chained to my computer.

Midi skirts never suit me very well, but I resolutely buy them in the hope I’ll find one which looks amazing. I quite like this tartan number from Primark, but it does tend to crease throughout the day, so I like to throw a sweater on over it.

My cardigan is a super-toasty cable knit from Topshop a zillion years ago. Perfect to stop me freezing to death under the office air-con, this cardi is cosy, oversized and slouchy – just how I like my knitwear.

This tee is actually a mens’ – whilst I wouldn’t say I’m enormous, I am realistic, so was pretty aware a womens’ large wasn’t going to do me any favours. I like my jersey baggy, and love this McQ tshirt tucked into the high waisted skirt.

This embossed leather clutch is my new favourite thing ever. It has so many pockets, which is perfect for storing all the useless crap I haul around with me on a night out.

The star of the show here has to be the McQ Alexander McQueen Nico Sandals. Even though they’re a substantial heel height they are super comfy and easy to walk in, didn’t rub my toes and look amazing. I love the eyelet detail at the front and the edgy buckles across the sides!

Perhaps sandals and bare legs aren’t ideal for winter – seriously, I’m so sick of this weather – but I don’t care. How could I, with shoes that fabulous?

How would you style McQ Alexander McQueen?
