I love mens’ clothing – it’s softer, looser and considerably more comfortable than womens’ (not to mention, on the whole, cheaper.)
tee: obey via coggles | jeans: new look | boots: primark | duster jacket: h&m | earrings: h&m
I’m a big fan of slogan tees, but usually reserve them for lounging around the house, watching Netflix, and eating. (Classy.) However, this Obey number – which, incidentally, is a mens’ shirt – was far too sassy to keep behind locked doors…
As well as a bizarre Croydon-facelift hairdo and miserable scowl, I paired this tee with ripped skinnies, a pair of mid-calf ankle boots, a blush duster jacket and a massive pair of hoops.
I love ripped skinny jeans, but always struggle to find the right balance between ‘distressed’ and ‘fit for the bin’. This old New Look pair are just the right amount of frayed, and have lasted through substantial washes and wearings.
This H&M duster jacket was an absolute bargain buy – I nabbed this in the sale for a whole £3. With a tie waist, I sometimes wear it closed, but much prefer to just throw it on over edgy tees to soften the look as a whole.
The Primark faux-suede booties are making another appearance, and frankly, they’re so comfy I don’t even care. It’s always muddy walking into work so these are the perfect alternative to real suede – I can get them filthy and simply wipe them clean afterwards. What a dream…
How would you style a mens’ tee? Do you like the sassiness of Obey clothing?
