little white dress

Almost Couture Manchester Fashion Blog

I love shirt dresses – they’re versatile, comfy and such a flattering silhouette when you’re “blessed” (if you say so) with a larger bust.

This little Asos number is quickly becoming a favourite for my work-wear wardrobe; it’s cheesecloth fabric and nips in at the waist, making it crease-proof yet professional. Winner…

Throwing a sleeveless duster jacket over anything tends to make it look a little more work-friendly, and this lightweight, split-side Boohoo Boutique jacket is perfect.

I like to button my collars right up to my neck for work – after years of wearing V-necks (thanks, Trinny and Susannah), I’ve found it’s so much more flattering to go with a high-neck.

I keep my accessories minimal for work, but I wear my Cartier Love Ring everyday – it’s my favourite piece of jewelry by far.

I always wear high heels, but my feet are starting to get a bit shredded and sore after years of badly fitting shoes. I recently nabbed these Steve Madden chelsea boots off AllSole, and they’re quickly becoming a winter staple – they’re so comfortable, fit beautifully and with a pointed toe, look super luxurious.

The days of all-black are over – a little white dress is where it’s at…
