Everybody, stop what you’re doing and look at how beautiful this palette is. I am obsessed. Like full on, John-Hinkley-with-Jodie-Foster obsessed.
The Anastasia Beverly Hills Artist Palette is something I’d wanted to get my hands on forever. I’d heard such good things about ABH as a brand, and whilst I am yet to snag the contour palette, I was very kindly sent the limited edition eyeshadow palette to try. And OH MY GOD – this is my new favourite thing ever.
I’m not going to bore you with swatches (let’s be honest – that’s what Google is for), but believe me when I say these eyeshadows are insanely pigmented. My favourite shades are Dusty Rose, a matte blush; Baby I’m A Star, which has a fabulous name and equally fabulous sparkle; and Orange You Fancy, which is now my go-to shade for my crease, after being massively let down by Mac’s Red Brick.
Also, another thing that makes this palette the best thing since sliced bread – the brush. Usually I chuck the brushes that come with eyeshadow kits, as they’re usually a bit crap and just take up space in my brush pot. However, I love this dual-ended Anastasia Beverly Hills brush; it applies product beautifully and the fluffy ends blends like a true pro.
You guys know how utterly useless I am at applying eyeshadow (was I ill the day we all learnt how to do a cut crease?), but with this palette my skills have monumentally improved. It’s truly a win-win.
I cannot stress how absolutely life-changing this palette is. It’s the bees’ knees. The cats’ pyjamas. I’m using a lot of fluffy adjectives to describe it, but honestly – buy this now.
