Not going to lie to you guys – I’m a big fan of pyjamas. Tracksuit bottoms. Elasticated waistbands. (Anything where I can eat a lot.)

However, I’m a real girly girl at heart. When the opportunity comes to wear something slightly more fancy, I’m game…

coat: missguided | skirt: asos | blouse: matalan | boots: jigsaw | clutch: vivienne westwood | sunglasses: wildfox

I wore this outfit to a blogger event in Manchester a few weeks ago, and have now decided I should live in it. Like, forever. It’s so comfortable, easy to wear, and looks pretty snazzy (if I do say so myself…)

This coat was from Missguided – it’s a long waterfall number with a belt and wide collar. I opted for the tall version of this coat as I love the super longline look of an ankle-length jacket.

Now, nobody judge me here, but the blouse is from Matalan. I hold my hands up – whilst I’m a total label snob 99.9% of the time, Matalan are actually pretty good for those basic staple pieces.

One issue with blouses for me is the chest-to-length ratio – I’ve got a pretty big chest (ooher) so I find blouses tend to either be enormous or far too short on me. The Matalan stuff tends to fit me pretty well, so I’ve got this blouse in a load of staple colours.

Leather-look is the poor girls’  leather, and this pencil skirt from Asos is a pretty good match for the real thing. I got this in the Black Friday sale with an extra 20% off – what a winner.

My clutch, as mentioned in a few blog posts, is a little Vivienne Westwood number in snakeprint from The Boyfriend. Whilst it’s so tiny I can’t really fit anything in there, it looks super adorable and is one of my favourite night-out clutches. However, with a stap, it works well as a mini bag during the day too.

How amazing are these grey suede boots from Jigsaw? I got these at the Swindon Designer Outlet for an absolute snip, and they are so. Damn. Comfortable.

Now – can we please just discuss how amazing these sunglasses are. Whilst they make me look a bit Gaga-esque, I literally cannot get enough of them. They’re such a statement piece and can make any fairly conservative outfit that extra bit jazzy…

How would you style grey and leather together?
